1. Who we are

This website (lizard.global) is operated by Lizard Apps B.V., trading as Lizard Global.

Lizard Apps B.V. Schiehavenkade 96 3024 EZ Rotterdam The Netherlands KVK: 58228039 VAT: NL852934130B01 Email: hello@lizard.global

Lizard Apps B.V. is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

2. What data we collect and why

2a. Contact forms and enquiries

When you fill in a contact form or send us an email, we collect your name, email address, and any information you include in your message. We use this to respond to your enquiry and, if relevant, to follow up on a potential engagement.

Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) — responding to an inbound enquiry from someone who has chosen to contact us.

2b. Website analytics

We use Google Analytics and Google Global Site Tag to understand how visitors use our website — which pages are visited, how long people stay, and where they come from. This data is aggregated and does not identify individual visitors by name.

Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), subject to your cookie preferences.

2c. Behaviour and session recording

We use Hotjar to record anonymised session data — mouse movements, clicks, and scroll behaviour — to improve the usability of our website. Hotjar does not capture personal data entered into forms.

Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), subject to your cookie preferences.

2d. Marketing and advertising

We use Meta Pixel (including Facebook Domain Insights and Facebook Signal) and LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to show relevant ads to people who have visited our website. These tools may link your visit to your existing Facebook or LinkedIn account.

Legal basis: Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), collected via our cookie consent banner.

2e. Visitor identification

We use Leadinfo, Leadfeeder, and Snitcher to identify which companies visit our website based on IP address data. These tools do not identify individual visitors by name — they identify the company or organisation associated with an IP address. We use this information for outbound sales purposes.

Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We have assessed that our interest in understanding which companies are interested in our services does not override the privacy rights of the individuals concerned, given that only company-level data is processed and no individual profiling takes place.
