Challenges

The Dutch housing market is plagued by a severe structural imbalance, characterized by a massive surplus of buyers competing for a highly restricted inventory of sellers. This intense competition has driven housing prices to unsustainably high levels and caused market stagnation, leaving many prospective buyers entirely priced out or unable to find suitable properties.
