AvantSar, a subsidiary under Avant Health, part of Sarawak Oil Palms Berhad (SOPB), is dedicated to advancing health and wellness through innovative products and research. With a strong foundation in supplements and skincare, Avant Health has expanded into the digital wellness space with Cognify — a mobile app designed to raise awareness around brain health and combat cognitive decline. The initiative aligns with Avant Health’s mission to support overall wellbeing by integrating preventive healthcare tools into everyday life.

Challenges

With dementia and cognitive decline becoming a growing concern, Avant Health wanted to create a digital solution that helps users maintain and strengthen their mental agility. However, designing an app that appeals to both older adults — who may face usability challenges — and younger generations — who seek modern, engaging experiences — posed a unique challenge. The team needed to ensure accessibility, simplicity, and visual appeal while maintaining scientific credibility and engagement.

Partnering with Lizard Global, Avant Health turned its concept into an intuitive, research-driven mobile app. Through a combination of software development, UI/UX design, and growth analytics, the Cognify app was built to make brain health exercises approachable, fun, and effective. Each activity within the app is based on physician-tested methods proven to stimulate cognitive functions like memory, logic, and pattern recognition — all wrapped in an accessible interface tailored for users across generations.
