Lien Jo-Ey – The Creative Multi-Tasker Crafting User-Friendly Experiences

When Lien Jo-Ey first stumbled across Lizard Global’s website, she wasn’t just browsing — she was on a mission. “I was searching for a software agency for my internship,” she recalls. “I found Lizard Global, and right away, I was impressed by the website — the way it moved, the interactions, the creativity. It made me want to learn more.”

That spark of curiosity led her to apply, join as an intern, and eventually secure a full-time role as a Junior Product (UI/UX) Designer.

One and a half years later, Jo-Ey has built an impressive track record, juggling multiple projects that challenge her design thinking and time management skills. “I’ve learned how to multitask effectively and manage my time so I can deliver quality work without burning out,” she says.

Among her many projects, one stands out: reliVet. “It’s special because it was my first website project after joining full-time. It’s a two-sided marketplace that connects veterinarians with flexible work opportunities and helps hospitals find the staff they need. I love that it solves a real problem for both sides.”

But her story at Lizard Global isn’t just about professional milestones — it’s also about culture. “My colleagues are amazing. The environment here is friendly, supportive, and there’s always something fun to join in on.”

Ask her for a favorite memory, and she doesn’t hesitate: “The company trip to Bali in 2022. We explored beautiful places, tried delicious local food, and just had fun together outside of work. It’s moments like that which make you feel connected to the team.”

Her advice for newcomers? “You will definitely grow here. Lizard Global gives you the space to explore, innovate, and be creative.”

Thisura Rasanjana – The Creative Problem-Solver with a Global Perspective

For Thisura Rasanjana, his journey to Lizard Global started with a leap — across the ocean. Originally from Sri Lanka, Thisura had over five years of experience as a UI/UX Engineer. He was settled in his career, but when his wife began her postgraduate studies in Malaysia, he relocated with her. It meant stepping away from his role and starting fresh.

“I began freelancing to sustain myself while actively searching for a full-time position here,” he explains. “When I discovered Lizard Global, I was drawn to its reputation, its innovative projects, and the nature of the role.”

Now a Product (UI/UX) Designer, Thisura has already embraced the team’s open, collaborative culture. “From day one, I felt welcomed. The people here are supportive, and the work-life balance is something I truly value — it’s not something you find everywhere.”

Even though he’s been with Lizard for about a year, he's learning the company’s unique approach to design and product development, as well as the industries they serve. “It’s exciting to see how strategy, creativity, and technology come together here,” he says.

When it comes to fun memories, Thisura is still in the collecting phase. “I haven’t had my stand-out moment yet,” he admits with a smile. “But with the culture here, I know it’s coming soon.”
